Our Year 11 students have successfully completed their woodcrafting project by designing and building beautiful birdhouses using a range of woodworking tools and techniques.

Throughout the unit, students developed valuable hands-on skills in measuring, cutting, assembling, and safely using woodworking equipment while bringing their ideas to life.

The project challenged students to combine creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving to produce functional designs that could make a real difference.

To conclude the project, students proudly installed their completed birdhouses around the school campus, creating welcoming spaces for birds while contributing positively to our school environment and wider community.

This project was a fantastic example of learning beyond the classroom — where practical skills, sustainability, and community impact came together. We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students for their hard work and successful outcomes!
