Alongside teaching and coaching, Thomas led the school’s Gold Duke of Edinburgh programme, where he organised expeditions training, adventurous journeys, and leadership opportunities that challenged students far beyond the classroom environment. Taking on a leadership role within an international setting, he became responsible for shaping the vision and direction of Physical Education across the school, while also overseeing a broad range of extracurricular and enrichment opportunities designed to enhance student experience beyond academics.
