Jonathan is a committed and experienced teacher who has taught History for the last 20 years in the UK and across the world. He has worked in many prestigious international schools in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Peru, and is joining BVIS from our Nord Anglia school in Dubai where he has worked for the last 6 years.
He is passionate about his job as an educator of young people and dedicated to his subject. For Jonathan, History is one of the most important elements of the curriculum as it gives students an identity in the world and promotes critical analysis. His aim is always to excite curiosity in the topics taught and to inspire pupils.
Outside of the classroom, Jonathan enjoys travelling to new places, cinema, playing tennis and going to the gym. He also enjoys riding motorcycles both on and off road and is keen to explore Vietnam by bike.
