Christopher is a passionate Mathematics teacher with 6 years of teaching experience in the UK. He is committed to creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to challenge themselves, ask questions and develop resilience in problem solving. Christopher believes that all students can succeed in mathematics when they are encouraged to think independently and celebrate their progress.
Alongside teaching, Christopher has been involved in a range of extracurricular and leadership opportunities including coordinating the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme, running chess and British Sign Language clubs and mentoring trainee teachers. He particularly enjoys helping students develop confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.
Christopher developed a love of mathematics through enjoying the challenge and satisfaction of solving problems from a young age. He enjoys sharing this enthusiasm with students and helping them see the value of mathematics in everyday life.
Outside of school, Christopher enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and running. He completed his first marathon earlier this year and is looking forward to participating in the Hanoi Marathon later this year. He is excited to begin his new adventure in Hanoi and become part of the BVIS community.
