Dear Parents,
What a truly special and memorable way to bring our academic year to a close. Over the past week, our celebration assemblies have given us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and honour every child—recognising not only their achievements, but the remarkable growth, friendships, and joyful experiences that have shaped their year.
We opened our celebrations with our wonderful Ladybirds, setting the tone for a truly special week. Their performance was a joy to watch—filled with confidence, enthusiasm, and a real sense of pride. From their singing and dancing to the way they moved so smoothly between each moment, they showed just how much they have grown. Over the year, it has been a privilege to see them develop into such expressive, curious, and assured learners. They have truly blossomed this year, and we are immensely proud of every one of them.
Next, our youngest learners, the beautiful Bees, delighted us with their joyful performance. For many, this has been their very first year of school, making their time on stage even more special. Their singing and dancing were full of energy and excitement, and their “fireworks” performance beautifully captured the magic of their learning journey. The confidence they showed was so wonderful to see—and a true reflection of trust and happiness they have developed throughout the year.

Our fabulous Dolphins followed with a performance that was both joyful and heartfelt. Their wonderful singing and fantastic dancing showcased not only their creativity, but also the kindness and curiosity that define them as a class. It has been so special to see every one of them grow into confident and kind learners, and their performance beautifully captured what an amazing year it has been for the Dolphins.
Then came our fantastic Turtles, who truly brought the stage to life. Their energy, creativity, and enthusiasm were a delight to see, and they performed with such pride and personality. Throughout the year, they have shown a wonderful willingness to explore, imagine, and collaborate, and these qualities shone through in their performance. From their confident singing to their wonderful dancing, every moment reflected how much they have grown, bringing smiles to everyone in the audience.
Finally, our oldest students, the amazing Alligators, brought our celebrations to a close in the most impressive way. Their “hand jive” dancing was full of confidence and flair, and their poetry reflected their learning and the journey they have been on this year. Beyond their performance, what stands out most is the kindness, curiosity, and teamwork they have demonstrated throughout the year. They are now so ready for their next adventure in Year 2 at the Primary campus, and we know they will carry these wonderful qualities with them as they take this exciting next step.

To those families who will be moving on to new schools or new countries, thank you. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your child’s journey. We feel incredibly grateful to have shared in their learning, laughter, and growth, and we wish you all the very best for the adventures ahead.
As we reflect on the year, we are filled with pride. Each day, your children arrive to school—bringing kindness, creativity, curiosity, and a wonderful sense of play. These qualities have shaped our community and made our school such a warm, vibrant, and happy place to learn and grow. A heartfelt thank you to all of you—our parent community, your partnership, trust, and support have meant so much to us.
And finally, to the amazing teaching team, and what a team you are! Full of passion, commitment and care to make each day matter for the children you care for and teach each day – thank you! Together, we have created a strong and nurturing environment where every child has been able to thrive.
Wishing you all a restful, and happy summer. I look forward to welcoming many of you back in the new academic year, and to continuing this journey together.
Yours sincerely,
Ruth Hanson
