Uniting Primary Across Campuses

Uniting Primary Across Campuses - Uniting Primary Across Campuses

This year marks an exciting next step for Primary at Krylatskoe. Mr Smith and I will be working closely together to create a more connected and consistent experience for children across both campuses. Mr Smith will continue to lead the Upper Campus in matters of safety and procedure, while I will take responsibility for the academic direction of Early Years and Primary as a whole.

It is a privilege to take on this responsibility, and my priority is simple: to ensure that every child experiences one strong and connected Primary school throughout their journey with us.

There is already so much excellent practice across both campuses. Our aim is not to make every year group identical, but to ensure that the same high expectations and shared values are evident from Early Years through to Year 6. We want children to experience clear progression, increasing independence and growing confidence as they move through the school.

A more united Primary also creates valuable opportunities for our teachers to share ideas, align expectations and learn from one another, while preserving the character that makes each stage of education special.

For our older children, Years 5 and 6 should provide a strong bridge into Secondary, developing not only academic readiness, but also independence, responsibility and leadership.

Ultimately, this is about creating one clear and coherent journey for every child, within an ambitious, supportive and connected Primary community.
