Originally from the West Highlands of Scotland, Tim graduated with a MA French Studies from the University of Aberdeen in 2010 and a PGDE in Modern Languages the following year. He later gained a further MA in International Education from King’s College London in 2021.
Teaching brought me to Chicago in 2013. Tim only intended to stay for two to three years; thirteen years, one wedding, and three cats later, he's still here! Outside of school, he's an avid language-learner, explorer of new places, taker of long walks, and follower of the Eurovision Song Contest. In school, he likes to place fun at the center of learning and make our classroom a place of joy. He's excited for the year ahead with the Koalas, and for the learning and joy they're going to share together.
