Neetika was born and raised in a picturesque town in Northern Ireland before moving to Manchester to pursue her studies, earning a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a Master's degree in Education. Now in her 20th year of teaching and 9th year at BISC South Loop, she is proud to serve as Second in the English Department. Throughout her career at BISC, Neetika has taught both English and Drama, directed productions of Beauty and the Beast and Matilda, and enjoyed supporting students in her role as an advisor. Last year, she led the school's work on metacognition, helping to develop students' awareness of how they learn and grow as independent thinkers. Committed to continual professional growth, Neetika has trained with world-renowned institutions including Juilliard and Harvard. Teaching at BISC has been an incredible journey, and she continues to be inspired by the warmth, compassion, and creativity of its students every day.
