Ellen was raised in the North East of Scotland and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2016. She specialized in piano and fiddle, with a particular passion for Scottish traditional music. She has taught and performed internationally, sharing her passion for music and Scotland’s rich heritage with audiences around the world. She spent the first ten years of her teaching career in Paisley, inspiring young musicians to develop creativity, confidence, and musical skills. Ellen is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that help students reach their full potential. She is excited to join BISC South Loop and share her passion for music with the Chicago community.
